Torquay boss Paul Buckle has swooped to sign experienced Cambridge United goalkeeper Danny Potter.
The 31-year-old former Exeter City and Weymouth number one returns to Devon after 10 years and made 114 appearances for the U's.
Buckle said: "Danny is an exciting signing for us.
"I consider him the best goalkeeper outside the league and now he is going to be back in the league, which is where he should be playing.
"He's experienced and a great addition to the squad, which is really starting to take shape now."
