Le Fondre Premier class - Moore

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore believes Adam Le Fondre has what it takes to play at the highest level.

The 23-year-old striker, who signed from Rochdale in August, has been the stellar performer for the Millers this season and his 30 goals have helped fire them to the play-off final at Wembley against Dagenham on Sunday.

That form has inevitably seen him linked with moves away from Don Valley Stadium this summer and Moore, a former striker himself, has tipped Le Fondre to make it in the Premier League.

"I think he can go as high as he wants to go. He needs to work a little bit harder, you look at the modern strikers nowadays, they're all workaholics but still score goals," Moore said.

"Once he starts to work a bit harder, the world is his oyster and he can go as high as he wants. He's only 23 and he will score goals wherever he goes. When he is 40 he'll still be scoring for the Dog and Duck.

"If I was a Premier League manager I would certainly take a chance on him."
